FAQ's

Here are some answers to very common questions we get in and outside the office.

Question:

Do you take insurance?

Answer:

We are a private pay office and are not in network with any insurance providers.  We choose this style of practice because it allows us to provide the care you and your family deserve and is not dependent on what a third party will cover. We are able to collaborate with you and give the very best care we can based on each individual’s unique needs.

Question:

Do you only see pregnant women and children?

Answer:

Although Dr. Ashley is heavily trained in prenatal and pediatric care, that is not the only demographic we serve at Let It Be Chiropractic.  Our goal is to create a healthier community and raise up healthy generations after us and one of the best ways to do that is to care for the whole family!

Question:

Do you accept walk-ins?

Answer:

No, we do not accept walk-in appointments for new patient appointments. Our office believes in getting down to the root cause of the issue. At your new patient appointment, Dr. Ashley sits down with you and gives you her undivided attention to go through your medical history, extensive neurological testing and physical exam. At your second office visit, if you choose to proceed with care, you will receive your first adjustment from Dr. Ashley.

Question:

How soon can I bring my baby in to get adjusted?

Answer:

As soon as you would like! Chiropractic care is vital in the beginning stage of life to help their nervous system adapt to their new environment, as well as adapt to any stress that occurred during the birthing process.

Question:

What is the Webster Technique?

Answer:

The Webster Technique is a specialized prenatal chiropractic technique that helps ensure the pelvis and surrounding soft tissues are balanced to create a more comfortable pregnancy and potentially easier birth. Dr. Ashley is certified in the Webster Technique via the ICPA. You can find more information about this technique at icpa4kids.org

Question:

Can I just get adjusted without an exam?

Answer:

At Let It Be Chiropractic, we do not guess when it comes to your health and it’s something we do not take lightly.  In order to make sure we understand the root cause of the issue and make sure it is completely 100% safe to adjust you, we do not adjust anyone without a proper exam first.

Question:

What makes a nervous system based chiropractor different?

Answer:

We recognize that the body is designed to heal itself and the master control system of the body is the nervous system.  Your nervous system controls everything in your body so if it’s not functioning as well as it could, neither is anything else.  We make sure your nervous system is fine-tuned so that you are not only healing optimally but functioning optimally as well!
